How Much Weight Can You Lose In 7 Days?

Okay, so I have a hot tub party coming up, and as we all know, Christmas holidays, the food and eggnog are flowing. I only have 8 days left until this party, but 7 days until I see the people who will be attending. I was wondering, if I only drink green tea and water for 7 days and go for an hour walk or half an hour jog everyday, how much weight would I lose? I know it’s dangerous, and unhealthy and I’ll gain like 40 pounds back, but I just need to know. Thanks.

    The truth is, the only weight you can lose in a week is water. You will not lose fat, but you will lose “water weight” as they call it. Usually its around 5-10 lbs depending on the person. When you start exercising, you lose your water weight first and after about a week and a half, you start losing your fat/muscle off your body. Don’t expect a change in appearance, but expect a loss of 5-10 lbs.

    it depends on how much you burn. If you walk for an hour and jog and all that stuff you will probably burn like 2500 kcals a day… but when you stop eating your body will go on “starvation mode”… so it’s really hard to say how much calories you will burn per day.
    But let’s just say you burn 2000 a day. That would make 14000 in 7 days. 1 pound = 3500kcals (approximatley) so that would be 4 pounds. But you are gonna loose more, but it will be just water, so don’t let the number on your scale fool you.
    But if you’re really gonna do this thing, try fasting(it would really be healthier). Start with eating less on the first day, and on the second day very little and then on the third day you can start only drink tea and soup and that kind of stuff.

    umm it depends but dont starve yourself. things like this wont help. believe me. just try a healthy lifestyle. like an every day basis.. umm eat small light healthy meals like pastas(good carbs.. gets you gon the go.. not too bad) try weight watcher meals or go on a program and drink like water and ya green tea and such and if u wanna just exercise like a walk and run and going to the gym. all these things help just be careful.
    and if its that important get a dietition.

    Ex-lax, drink alot of water then do push ups in a sauna wearing a garbage bag under your sweat suit :) Then try the Hollywood celeberity diet you can get that at any drug store. After all that you can try to loose more water weigt with a wrap from a salon.
    But who really wants to look like Nicole Richie?

    You can lose as much as you’re willing to suffer heh.. I’d say you should eat once a day and well before you go to sleep, never go to sleep right after you had dinner.
    I’m sure if you remain on water (not too much) and green tea and eat once a day (yes, you will be starving but you want to lose weight right?) then you will lose a few kg’s.
    When you start feeling hungry, your stomach is going through a cycle where your gastric acids are wanting to mutilate the food (or non food) in your stomach so you feel hungry. If you can live through that cycle which may last around 10 – 15 mins or so, depending on the person I guess, then you get to wait until the next cycle, which means you successfully skipped a meal and made your stomach smaller, which also means you wont be as hungry the next day.
    This, along with some exercises, like, boxing for example, will make you lose even more, but one thing to keep in mind is, you dont really want to waste energy you dont have.

    You will not lose enough weight in 7 days that you will even notice a difference. Plus with the diet you are proposing, you will feel too crappy to even want to attend the hot tub party (if you are not passed out somewhere from lack of food).
    Instead, eat healthy, still go for the walks (you will feel better), and most importantly go enjoy the party.
