Avoid drinking bottled green tea. They are the least healthy green tea to drink.
Green tea health benefits come from its catechins, theanine and caffeine content. Bottled green tea contains the least of them.
30% of green tea is catechins, which contains almost all its antioxidants.
A study conducted by USDA found the following (first link):
100 millimetres of regular green tea contains 127 milligrams of catechins.
Decaffeinated brewed green tea contains only 56 milligrams, less than half of the catechins found in an original brew.
Flavored brewed green tea has 43 milligrams.
Disappointingly, bottled green tea has only 12 milligrams.
I tend to brew green tea, even in the office, it just take 2 minutes. Simply boil the water, let it cool a bit and pour it into your cup. Left to steep for less than 5 minutes.
Loose leaf is the healthiest. Read the second link to find out why. Love it to pieces.

Its all marketing ‘hype’. Drink water, its better for you and has no artificial sweeteners. ‘Diet’ anything doesnt mean its better or you…they just want to make a profit from people who dont know any better..
