only if you eat less calories than you need so watch your food intake and why not run or even walk outside. It would be more interesting and more adventurous and probably a lot better for you as you need a change from your routine otherwise you would get bored and the zest would go out of your running.

sure. it doesn’t matter where you do your physical activity. you are still going to lose weight.

You could try dancing or jumping jacks to mix it up a little. As long as you are continuously moving and raising your heart rate I’m sure you’ll lose some weight.

yeah, but its going to take a while. you need to be getting your heart rate up high and feeling your muscles burn. in a short space you might not be able to do this as well as you would be outside. why cant you run outside??
make sure your eating healthy as well. and drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Yes you cold but you have to get your heart rate up or it won’t work real great.

Probably not…..running would turn your fat to muscle. and unfortunately muscle weighs more than fat. To lose weight your best bet is to eat a balanced diet and exercise properly. try a run through the local park (if you are self conscious…just think…the people who laugh are the saddo’s that WON’T do anything to help themselves, most people will admire you for taking your life into your own hands) also do not just do cardio vascular exercises do some toning exercises too like Pilate’s, Yoga or gym work.

hell yes its not where you run its all about how many calories you burn while doing it
eboogie1 on February 5th, 2010 at 1:46 am
To lose weight, you need to burn more calories than your body needs. Ex. If you eat 1200 Cals per day, then burning off 200 cals would theoritically make you lose 1-2 lbs. per week.
You can’t lose weight just by exercising. And it needs to be vigorous exercise. This meaning you need to break out in a sweat.
Although anything is better than nothing. So have it if you’re really that bored. C=
doctors suggest 30+ minutes of any excersize that raises your heart beat.
that’s jumping rope, running, swimming, skipping, even walking.
why not run outside? or run up and down your steps?
take your dog for a walk.
or just blast the stereo and dance. dance like a fool. there is nothing better than getting your hips moving.
sometimes when i dance i feel like i could fly.

Yes that would help u, but i would suggest u to practice Yoga. If u stop running then u will become double ur size. so why dont u try doing Yoga. U will reduce ur weight as well as make ur body flexible.

Yes, you can do also runningplace…
Have a diet also because it is the best way to lose weight safely..
Eat fruits and vegetables, minimize eating foods with lots of proteins, carbohydrates and fats..
Maximize eating foods with lots of fiber…If you can do this, eat 7 asparagus a day…with water, not cold…no more no less..Best result, perfect body shape and health.

If you had a good pace up and running on the spot I can’t see why you can’t burn up calories .
But the real equation is Lower the Calorie intake and at the same time increase the calories burnt but added excercise not just running but star jumps and twists etc. because thaey all get the heart rate up and burn those calories.
Only then will you be part of a winning combination to lose those extra Kilograms or Pounds.

it helps as much as general exercises do…make sure to throw in some long walk in your routine every week as well.
