Can You Lose Weight By Strictly Watching Your Calories & Doing A Litte Exercise?
If you cut down the number of calories you eat, drink lots of water and do 30-45 mins of exercise a day will you lose weight. Will you be able to lose 20-25 pounds by the end of June?
Of course you will.
eating healthy and exercising is the only way to be ‘healthy’.
As to how much you want to lose by June, that depends on how much you weigh now, what kind of shape you’re in, how many calories you’ll be taking in, and what kind of exercise you’ll be doing.
Yes. The most important part of getting healthy is correct portion sizes, balanced meals, and exercise! A simple way to help yourself loose weight is to simply work in more steps everyday. So if you go out shopping, purposefully walk twice around the store. It gives you a small work out…without really being a work out.
As for the amount you want to lose…a healthy weight loss is about 5 lb./month. So you should be right on track to meet your goal weight by June.
One thing that might help encourage you to keep up the exercise and diet in a month or two, is to have a dress, pair of jeans, or swimsuit that you want to wear and feel great in, hanging somewhere you can see it daily.
Also a trick that I found worked well for me, was to put a list of healthy snacks on the fridge… it was just a little reminder for me about what I should eat.
My recommendation is for you to calorie count. It is not a well known fact (and that is why so many people have difficulty in losing weight) but different people can get by on different amounts of calories. I am retired now and consume 1900 calories a day, but even from the age of 40 you should start eating less. One more tip. Try to strike a balance between your carbohydrates and the other food stuffs: these are: proteins, 5 a day fats and milk. If you are a young lady and you’re quite active then 2000 calories a day will be a good starting point. The next point is to split this into 2 so you have 1000 calories of carbohydrates and 1000 calories of protein, 5 a day, fat and dairy. Then drop about 300 calories of carbohydrate. If you want to eat chocolate (because on this diet you can eat most things) then share it.
YES that sounds more than reasonable, you should be able to achieve that in the allotted time.

i weight the same amount, and my goal is the same
i think you could lose all that weight in 5 months if you are gonna be hard on yourself. like you really have to watch what you eat, and you have to exercise almost everyday. like sweat, not just lift couple weights. i recommend running. i have started, and i already feel good about it. just remember its gonna take a while for you to see results. but they will happen

yes u can… i personally lost a lot of weight in 3 months around 24 pound lats summer but just walking 30 min everyday and only 2 regular meals every day..no dinner..but used to eat lunch and breakfast ..i mean i would eat anything in my 2 meals
