Green Tea To Help Maintain Weight?

I am a graduate student in chemistry, working full time in a research lab, part-time at a company, and am planning my wedding for next month. As you can guess, I am pretty stressed out. I have gained about 5 lbs in the past two months (all in my waist) and am concerned about gaining anymore because then my dress will not fit. I eat fairly healthy, at least two good meals a day. Sometimes I slip up, but I am human. I don’t really have time to work out anymore, though I used to about a year ago. I want to go jogging with my dog in my neighborhood but it is not the safest place. I have heard the green tea is a natural appetite suppressant and metabolism booster. Would drinking more of this every day help me at least maintain the weight I am at and not gain more? Losing a lb or two would be great, but without consistent exercise I don’t see how that is possible. Any suggestions on what to do? Maybe a good exercise tape I could do? Will the green tea help?

I’ve been trying a diet green tea from http://myultragreentea.com and it has been really great for me so far. It’s helped to suppress my appetite, boost my metabolism, and increase my energy throughout the day. I can’t tell you why it works or anything but I’ve been drinking about 2 cups of it per day and exerising a little bit and it’s been awesome so far..

Green tea is good for the body, in any kind of situation. it helps clean the body from harmful substances, but i don’t believe it will really help with your diet. However, drink green tea everyday is good for you. Personally, i think hulahooping with a very heavy hulahoop will help.
    good luck with your wedding!

honestly green tea wont help. They have more caffeine than regular coffee, also a lot of antioxidents, but know. Green tea helping to reduce waist line is a myth. You are smart enough to understand this.

i took green tea pills, which is just a green tea powder made into pills and i lost 20 lbs within a month. people that say it won’t work, doesn’t know the effects of it. i have tried it first hand.
