How Effective In My Goal To Lose Weight Is Running On A Treamill For 45 Minutes 6-7 Days A Week……?

at a rate of usually 3-4 miles in 45 minutes. I know this is rather slow but I switch from sprints to walking. Some day I walk to whole time, at this intensity is it a waste?

That will definitely help, but, you MUST keep a check on your diet as well. Good luck!

Good question! lm trying to do the same thing and l was wondering the same!
To make it more affective l put the treadmill on incline and use hand weights, then l dont feel the need to run! l just power walk! Good luck!! : )

effective if you run really hard , not just walking like Jackie Mason on treadmill , see youtube , don’t think it is helping him lose weight : )

No, this is not a waste. A “waist” would be not doing anything but sitting on the couch (yes, that pun was intended). ANYTHING you do to increase your activity level is a plus!
Can you ride a bike to school or work? That too would help a lot! And save you 3 anna haff bux (owww… it hurts!) a gallon!
