Decaffinated Green Tea?

i have read from magazine articles stating that drinking green tea before and after a workout might help weight loss. the problem is, i have a body system that is very sensitive to cafferine. So my question is, is it the cafferine in green tea that helps us lose weight and controls our appetite or the antioxidant or whatever that does?
if it is just because of the other elements in green tea, will drinking decaffeinated green tea do the same trick to weight loss?

Decaffeinated green tea will not boost the metabolism as much as the regular green tea.
For that reason, it may help a bit – but it is the caffeine that really gives you the zing to help you loose the weight faster.
If you want to decaffeinate your own green tea – it is a little healthier and can be used on any loose leaf tea green or otherwise check out this page. http://www.crazyfortea.com/decaffeinated…

I think any type of tea would work. The trick is that you have to drink it whenever you feel a little bit hungry just to curb your appetite and it keeps your brain occupied when you drink the tea instead of snacking on cookies or crackers.
Overall, it’s basically another form of the water pill. I would not recommend drinking hot tea after an intense workout. It can cause you to pass out.

Green tea is good for weight loss. Antioxidants in green tea may prevent and reduce the severity of a number of ailments.
