Probably running, but both are great! I’ve heard the best way to lose weight is to do a low impact activity for at least an hour–like fast walking. It’s worked for me. If you stick with it over a period of time you’ll definitely see good results…good luck!

If your more than 50# overweight and over 50 walk or ride the bike. 20 min. a day to start. Work up to 1hr. if you can. Drink lots of water. Take 5 metamucil capsules in the afternoon. no food after 6:00 pm. running is hard on the knees for fat people. Run sprints if you can, on a soft track or field. Do not jog! Good luck!

If you want to tone up, I think cycling is better despite what many here believe. While running probably burns off more calories per minute, it is also a very high impact exercise. You will also tire very easily and run a higher risk of injuries. And this is just me, but I find that cycling is much more fun… Especially if you bring along a friend or two… You can also carry out a conversation while cycling.
Whatever it is, I suggest that you don’t think of it in terms of how much fat you can burn per hour… But rather how likely you are able to keep up with the program.

running, obviously. but bicycling might be better for less impact

do both. Running with help your thigs and other parts of the body. Possibly a little on the stomach area. Cycling will help other parts of the thigh and will be easier on the knees. Its good to do different things to loose weight, not just one, becuase different movements target different areas. Just running or cycling won’t target all the areas you are hoping for. Together, you will be able to target more. Good luck and stay positive!

Well running works on your legs and parts of your stomach aswell, and cycling works on mainly your legs.

Running. Its better cardio and it uses more of your body.

well… it kindda depends on your area. If your in a hilly area (like my place) biking helps ALOT. Going up is tasking if its really steep, but worth it. When you go down, you can feel the breeze. But if your in a non-hilly area, just run.

Any aerobic exercise will do the trick. You will lose fat in the order the fat was put on.
Pick something you enjoy and stick with it. Monitor your heart rate and keep it about 65% of your maximum, more or less. Exercise .5-1 hour per day, 3-5 times per week.

yeah… running and bicycling are similar activities bc u use ur muscles without stop ..
after 15 min of activities muscles stop to use energy what u bring in ur body with food that day and start to use energy from fat so if u wanna burn fatness u need to do something longer than 15 min without stop …and dont drink beer after ! :P
