I Am Over Weight And Desperate To Lose Weight, Can Someone Please Help?
I am a mother of 3. My oldest is 15, the second one is 10 and the baby is 12 months old. I am 5′ 4″ and 250lbs. I had lost a lot of weight after my second child around 80lbs. with Adkins diet combined with some pills that contained Ephedra and I felt great but they went out of market and started gaining back little bit of the weight then I tried Herbalife and lost a few pounds and thats it got stuck there then I tried a green tea pill and lost a few more but them came out pregnant and gain a bunch of weight and since this last baby had to be C-section because she was bridged my stomach is huge. Can someone please help if you have had succes with a diet or a good advise please? Thanks a lot!
First off, put the diet pills down. You need to educate yourself on quality foods. You need to change your lifestyle.
I would highly recommend you stop by any book store and read or purchase the book “Eating for Life” by Bill Phillips. This is a less strict and more in depth recipe guide that corresponds with the fitness routines and lifestyle changes in his book “Body for Life.” It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet.
You eat real meals with real ingredients. He even gives you photos of the ingredients so you can recognize them at your local grocery store.
The diet pills are going to leave you disappointed.

My mother is currently going through the same thing. She is the mother of three and has packed on a lot of weight because of her children. But recently she has started to loose an amazing amount of weight and we’re all pretty proud of her. She goes to a weight lose clinic that charges one dollar for every pound you loose, she runs two miles everyday and participates in a very slow relaxing yoga session. She also makes sure that she fills up on vegetables, grains, chicken, dairy, and other forms of lean protein. The only way I have ever kept off weight, is exercise and eating well. No take out junk food, no fast food, just real food and walking every day. Most of those pills have too many side effects, you really have to change your lifestyle to really make it work and stick.

First thing you need to do is be sure that you’re eating appropriate sized portions. After you get your small portions down, add fruit and vegetables. Try to get 6-7 total servings of fruits and vegetables combined. Eat NO fast food again. Try to eliminate soda from your diet also. Not just regular strength, but all soda. So after you get all of that down, try to eat 6 times per day. 3 small meals, and 3 small snacks in between. Always eat breakfast. Don’t try to totally cut out anything, eat your carbs and fats, just be smart about it.
Then try to start exercising. I know it’s hard with 3 children, but the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories per day than you take in.
Why do you always try to rely on pills? It’s your over-eating that causing you the weight gain. Try to eat a lot less…and you’ll lose a lot of weight.
