Drinking green tea is good for you, but you will not get the energy level you are looking for…. Green tea extract on the other hand will give you great energy. Works for me. anywhere from 200 – 600 is fine… No side effects. I have been taking green tea extract for over 6 years.

Hello, I am not an authority on diet and nutrition, but I do have alot of expirience.
Green tea is all natural, it does contain caffiene in it which will temporaraliy supress your appitite, thats it, it will not magically help you to lose weight by itself,
if it is in another form as a diet pill or diet tea, it might contain another ingridient that would help speed up your metabolism, which increases your heart rate so you have to be careful with these things, usually those green tea diet things just have added doses of caffine in them which just does the same as to much coffee!! to realisticallly lose weight it’s old fashion eating healthy small meals every day w/ exercise, if you can tolerate the green tea caffine fine, but it wont do much!
