How Fast Can You Lose Weight In One Week?

I workout one hour a day( run/elliptical ), drink 8-12 glasses of water, and eat around 1000-1200 calories daily. I eat good quality protien and eat 4-5 small meals daily. How fast can I expect to lose weight in one week? Is 3 to 5 pounds REALLY to much to lose in a wk?

You don’t give yr age or current weight.
If’ve you’ve just started working out your body will initially retain water for your muscles that you’re working out.
    Is the quality protein lean?
The 4-5 small meals a day is a great idea, with lean protein.
A normal & safe weight loss would not be in excess of 2 lbs a week.
Also, anyone giving answers about acai – ignore them. The only thing you will lose is money.

Diet will help your stomach to get accustomed to smaller amount of food you need every day. It will decrease the whole quantity of consumed calories. Therefore after this diet it is easy to maintain balanced feeding.
Yes, to lose of 5-7kg (11-15lb) excess weight one week is quite enough. The diet is very simple. Your food during these days is fruits and vegetables. But you must not overeat them also, 1.5kg (3lb) of them a day is enough.
What you can eat for a day?
    -apples
    -boiled vegetables
    -mashed vegetables
    -oranges and mandarins
    -kiwi
    -fruit all sorts (not dressed)
    -fruit puree (without sugar)
The main rule is not to eat more than 1.5kg (3lb) of foodstuff a day. What can you drink? It is tea (green is preferable), coffee (without sugar) and mineral water.

Well, no it is possible to lose 3-5 pounds in a week. But also, since you workout, then you also are building muscle. Which, adds weight, but not bad. Don’t lose heart. The best is slowly coming off, rather than fast. It’ll stay off then. I hope this helps.
